There's been a lot of requests around child locking and simplification generally, it's certainly becoming an issue round my gaff, so I was wondering if anyone had more ideas about how that might work? You could have a separate install of your media player of choice with the config file pointing at.custom folders.You could also separate your homebrew games from your applications, hide 'They Do Not Die' from your 2-year-old, etc. Point a 'homebrew' source menu entry at a folder other than /apps. Something to indicate the kind of graphics you get from an emulated system (or even a game!) would be cool, and a banner-something for game metadata/text.Ģ - I reckon custom, password lockable, app folders is a great idea.
